The Simpson Storm women’s basketball team used a 57 point first half to take the lead and not look back in a 86-69 defeat of Concordia-Moorhead Saturday.
The Storm shot 60% in the first half, nailing 8 of 17 three point shots and holding the Cobbers to 42 points in the fast paced contest. Jenna Taylor led the way with 22 points, with Cameron Kincaid dropping 15 and Rachel Freland scoring 13 to go along with 4 steals. The Storm improve to 7-1, and will next play on Thursday in their holiday tournament in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
