Pella Christian Basketball Teams Seeking Bounce-Back in Grinnell

The Eagles basketball teams are aiming to flip the script on a disappointing Friday night when they travel to Grinnell for a twin-bill tonight.

Pella Christian’s girls are coming off of a 21 point loss to Indianola in a game they lead by a point at halftime, and will now take on a favorite to return to the state tournament and win the conference in the No. 4 in Class 4A ranked Tigers.

The Eagles boys failed to find shooting rhythm against the Indians — all Eagles outside of Dan Jungling were just 1 of 11 from beyond the arc. Pella Christian is seeking their first conference win of the year against a Grinnell team that edged out DCG in two overtimes Friday.

Coverage from that game starts at 6:00 on KRLS2 at kniakrls.com, with Trevor Castle and Wynne Veenstra calling the action.
