Pella Historical Society to Host Windmill Winterim Classes

Pella Historical Society is hosting their Second Annual Windmill Winterim Classes in January.

Classes include:
Tulip Bulb Planting: What the Heck Am I Supposed to Do? on Thursday, Jan. 3 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Basement of Heritage Hall at the Historical Village. Cost is $10 for society members, and $15, non-members.

Staphorst Painting: Anyone Can Do It! On Saturday, Jan. 12 from 2-4 p.m. at the bakery in the Historical Village. Cost is $15 for members; $20 for non-members.

Putting Your Family’s Story on Paper: It’s Now or Never! On Tuesday, Jan. 15, and Tuesday Jan. 29 from 5-7 p.m. at the bakery in Historical Village. Cost is $20 for PHSM members; $30, for non-members. This is one class held in two parts; participants will attend both nights.

Dating Your Photographs Based on Clothing and Hairstyles: It’s Easier Than You Think, on Monday, Jan. 21 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Timeline Room at Vermeer Mill. Cost is $5 PHSM members; for $10, non-members.

Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Moving Day! On Saturday, Jan. 26, from 2-4 p.m. at Scholte Church. Free is to all, but participants must sign up so that they know how many crafts to provide.

All classes have limited enrollment. PHSM members may sign up now, and non-members may sign up for any remaining spots on Wednesday.
