Two Simpson Storm football players recently earned national honors for their play on the field and work in the classroom.
Michael Connor has been named to the 2018 American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-America Second Team, finishing the year with league-highs in tackles (113) and sacks (8.5) to go along with 16 tackles for loss. Senior wide receiver/punter Nathan Hawkins earned a spot on the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America Second Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America with a 3.91 cumulative GPA.
