Indianola Guards Shooting Well From Long Range

The guard play for the Indianola boys basketball team has been stellar this season, with Evan Gauger and Quinn Vesey averaging 22.5 and 20.5 points respectively.

What has been just as big to help the Indians succeed so far however, has been the outside shooting from the other two guards in the Indians starting lineup, Tyce Johnson and AJ Toigo (Tie-go). Johnson is averaging 11.8 points per contest, while shooting at a 46% clip from long range, while Toigo is averaging 6.8 points and being selective with the outside shot but shooting a whopping 54.5% from beyond the arc. The Indians sit at 3-1 on the season, and travel to Pella Christian tomorrow.
