Indianola Noon Lions Fundraising for Community Projects

The Indianola Noon Lions are holding a vacation raffle to fundraise for community projects around the city.

Participants can purchase tickets for $10, and a six-night stay at a location of your choice is the grand prize. Laura Avitt with the Indianola Noon Lions Club tells KNIA News the fundraising effort is to help out local programs that keep the money right here in the community.

“We do a lot of fundraising to support what we do in the community, just recently we sponsored the children’s store at the Holiday Extravaganza and we’ve done that for about 10 years now, and it’s a wonderful way to give back to the community and watch the kids come in and pick out gifts for their parents. We also do things like provide LUCAS devices for the fire department, and help with their pancake breakfast and their open house every October, we help out at the fair and balloons, we try to be involved in everything.”

Tickets can be purchased from any Noon Lions member, or by visiting Avitt Family Chiropractic. The drawing for the tickets will be held on December 17th.
