City of Indianola Asking for Citizens Input on Budget Process

With the preparation of the city budget well underway, the City of Indianola is asking for community input on what priorities the city should have for the upcoming fiscal year.

City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News he encourages residents to fill out the form, as it is a great way for citizens to get involved with local government, but there are also many more opportunities to have their voices heard.

“Attend the meetings, we have budget meetings going all the way back to May or June to establish the process. The budget is not just a one time put it together and you are done, this form is just one step in the process for the city and the council to hear what the residents are thinking, but we encourage participation throughout the whole process.”
