Pella City Council to Discuss Numerous Zoning Ordinances, Annexation

The Pella City Council has three public hearings scheduled to deal with zoning changes at their meeting this evening.

A resolution annexing land owned by RDP Holdings and the first reading of two ordinances, one changing land from commercial to institutional for the new location of Second Christian Reformed Church and the other to change Heavy Industrial Land to Commercial Zoning for Brumark Properties are all on the agenda. Additionally, the council will award a contract for the 2018 sidewalk repair project, set a public hearing date to vacate an alley at the proposed site of the Webster Park housing development, and consider an engineering services agreement for the Wastewater Treatment Plant improvements.

The Pella City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
