Several winter sports athletes at Central College are active today…
The wrestlers are split up, as most of the Dutch return to the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational, a tournament which they have won four years in a row. North Central College (Ill.) and Elmhurst College (Ill.) have been added to the tournament, improving the quality of the field. A second group of athletes will compete at the Buena Vista Open in Storm Lake.
Central’s men’s basketball team hosts Wisconsin La Crosse at 3 p.m., while select indoor track athletes will compete at the Happy Holidays Multi-Event Indoor Season event in Crete, Neb.
